
The Challenge: Laurel Hill has been established as a cemetery since they introduced Laurel Hill West in 1869, after founding Laurel Hill East in 1836. The team at Laurel Hill have been looking for ways to increase their memberships and overall the amount of people coming into the park. In an advertising team we were tasked to research and come up with a main insight alongside a big idea to show the client at the end of the semester.
The Resolution: Our insight "Walk With Intention" was developed after we completed interviews with Gen Z and found multiple accounts of commentary in these interviews and online discussion boards that they feel there is not a place for them to escape from the chaos. Our big idea "Connect to you" is a campaign created to target Gen Z and to challenge them to rediscover themselves and their tranquility. This campaign was picked by the client as the top campaign in the class to be used in future marketing at Laurel Hill.
